Keep Connected

Message from President Loh
Dear Terps!

You did it!  The semester is done and commencement is in two days!  Wow!!  What a semester it has been, wonderful Terrapins.  But you made it - and we did it - together as Terps!  You made the move from campus to home, from classrooms to online, from in-person meetings to virtual ones.  You made the transition in uncertain times and I could not be more proud of all you have overcome. You stayed the course and modeled what it means to be a Terp - sticking your neck out, one step at a time!

So, I want to say “THANK YOU!”' Thank you for supporting each other. Thank you for helping to carry this university and this community forward, even through the toughest of times. And, thank you for taking these hard-learned lessons into your future to make a better life for yourselves, for our university, and for others.

Through this semester of change and uncertainty, and beyond, I am here to remind you that Student Affairs has got you! And you’ve got this!  And you did it!  We celebrate you, so celebrate yourselves.

Class of 2020 - congratulations!  This will always be home so we cannot wait for you to visit often.  And, to all other students, we cannot wait to see you soon.

Be well, wonderful people - Patty
