This series of anti-racism teach-ins gathered experts on anti-racism from UMD and beyond, including students,
leaders, faculty and alums, as one action the UMD community could take as we learn to be anti-racist in the face of racism everywhere it occurs. It was created by our then-director of diversity training and education, Dr. Carlton E. Green, ODI's Timea Webster and Erin McClure from the School of Public Health. The series was co-sponsored by SPH and ODI along with UMD's Center for Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education. It was designed as part of the #UMDSolidarity anti-racism campaign and began in summer 2020, running through fall of 2021. Please watch the videos below and consider what role you can play in disrupting the cycle.
